 How you can get involved

Running a parish like Odd Rode requires a considerable amount of time, skills and financial  resources. The churches in the parish are extremely grateful to the dedicated people who work,  voluntarily, to ensure that God's work can take place in Odd Rode.

The range of tasks neccessary for the functioning of the churches vary from deaconing at  communion services to parish administration to groundskeeping and washing up at the end of church  events. Each task is vital to the church and equally important in the futhering of God's mission and  ministry within the parish.

Many people assist in the running of the parish not only because they feel that they need to use  their God given gifts in the service of His Church, but also because they enjoy doing so and find it  highly rewarding. If you feel that you would like to contribute to parish life, there are many  opportunities for you to do so. This can be expressed financially, or by the giving of your time and  talents to the churches to further their work.

For further information, please contact either the parish office or the Churchwardens, who will be  pleased to hear from you.
